Kink
What does Edging mean?
Edging is deliberately approaching the point of climax and backing off to build and prolong arousal.
Also: edge play (orgasm control)
Edging is the practice of getting close to orgasm and then pausing, repeatedly, to draw out pleasure and often make the eventual release more intense. It can be done solo or with a partner.
It overlaps with orgasm control in kink, where one partner may manage the other's build-up as part of a power dynamic. It is generally low-risk and simply about pacing and sensation.
As always, communication makes it better — talking about pace and when to stop keeps it enjoyable for everyone involved.
"Love a slow build — edging is my thing."
